First Home Owner Grant
The First Home Owner Grant will provide an eligible purchaser with $7,000.00 on the purchase of their first home.
First Home Plus Scheme
The Frist Home Plus Scheme provides exemptions or concessions on the stamp duty payable on a first home purchase. The exemption applies to properties with a sale price of less than $500,000.00 and a concession (based on a sliding scale) applies to properties with a sale price between $500,000.00 and $600,000.00. THE NSW STATE GOVERNMENT HAS RESTRICTED THIS EXEMPTION OR CONCESSION TO NEWLY BUILT HOMES FROM 1 JANUARY 2012. IF YOU DO WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS SCHEME AS A FIRST HOME PURCHASER YOU WILL NEED TO EXCHANGE CONTRACTS PRIOR TO 31 DECEMBER 2011.
